360° Rotating D-Ring Cargo Tie-Down Anchor
For the ultimate in cargo securement versatility, choose the 360° rotating recessed D-ring tie-down. The D-ring is secured to a recessed pan fitting that gets buried into the wooden mounting surface, leaving the 360° swivel D-ring attachment flush with the surface when not in use and laid on its side. This rotating D-ring is incredibly advantageous for securing all kinds of freight loads; it allows you to anchor a tie-down in any direction without friction.
Heavy-Duty Galvanized Steel D-Ring, Working Load Limit 2,000 Lb.
This floor mount recessed circle D-ring pan fitting is made of a hardy steel that can endure the elements and has a working load limit of 2,000 lb. The steel is galvanized to resist corrosion and rust. Flush mount D-ring fittings have weep holes in the pans to allow for water drainage.
Installing Flush Surface Mount Round Recessed Pan Fitting D-Ring
To install, use a hole saw and/or chisel to create a circular pit that is 1" deep with a diameter of 4-3/8". Place the D-ring pan into the hole and fasten with bolts or screws in the four pre-drilled holes in the pan rim corners. This D-ring recessed pan fitting has a rim that is 1" wide and 1/8" thick, creating an entire flush mount D-ring with a diameter of 61/4". The 360° rotating D-ring has a clearance of 3" x 1-1/2". It is made of 1/4" thick steel.
